The new package configuration is designed with high volume compounding operations in mind. It allows compounding facilities utilizing automated syringe filling operations to quickly and easily introduce 100 sterile Tamper Evident Caps into the sterile environment. A single Tyvek pouch allows for simple wipe down procedures while saving time, labor and material cost over the introduction of single Tamper Evident Cap Trays. The bulk pouch design also reduces packaging consumables. The product is offered in a case of 1,000 units (10 sterile pouches) Like all IMI Tamper Evident Cap products, the new bulk pouch product is manufactured in the USA for the quality and compliance that compounding operations demand.
