Low-Dose Aspirin: the 'Heavy-Weight' Champion for Primary Prevention in All Patients? - Pharmacists

Low-dose daily aspirin is ubiquitously prescribed in health practices and used over-the-counter by many patients. However, recent studies and expert guidance suggest that NOT everyone is a candidate and that low-dose, daily aspirin may cause more harm than benefit in certain instances. Join us to discuss the strengths, limitations, and implications of this work on primary care practice and when prescribing and de-prescribing aspirin may be appropriate.
