New features on the Omnicell® XT Automated Dispensing Cabinet helped impact the decision, including interoperability with the Epic electronic health record system, which removes redundant tasks and enables nurses to spend more time with patients. Additionally, Riverside will be outfitting its newly constructed central pharmacy with automation and software solutions that will provide enhanced safety, security, tracking capabilities, and improved pharmacy workflow.
