Under the general direction of the Technical Operations Manager, this person is responsible for designing and developing training plans and materials for customers and internal/external sales force, as well as facilitating and performing the implementation, installation and training of Medical Packaging Inc. (MPI) pharmacy packaging solutions. This individual will manage the entire process involved with the installation and training of MPI packaging systems, including communicating with the customer on all preparation and on-site requirements, setting up and testing the equipment on-site at the pharmacy, and providing formal training and training manuals to pharmacy personnel on how to use the packaging systems.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the pre-implementation process ensuring site readiness; hardware, software, and interface requirements are met; scheduling on-site installation/training sessions with pharmacy personnel.
• Prepare and test the equipment and software at customer site to ensure both are operational and configured for the customer’s use.
• Prepare and present formal training tools for use in training pharmacy employees on using and maintaining the packaging systems.
• Provide formal on-site training to pharmacy personnel on use and maintenance of the packaging systems.
• Complete all appropriate documents to track open issues and record project activity.
• Provide remote training on MPI products as required or propose and implement alternative training options including computer-based or web-based training, self-study guides, technical manuals, etc.
• Perform onsite technical service and retraining to existing customers.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements

• Minimum 50%, up to 75% domestic and international travel required. Flexible working hours are required including nights and possible weekends. Office based when not traveling.
• Pharmacy technician or experience in hospital pharmacy environment highly desired.
• Good analytical mind that enjoys working with software and technology.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and training skills. Must be customer focused and have experience managing customer expectations and facilitating problem resolution.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and manage different projects.
• Strong computer skills; SQL Server, Microsoft Office Suite
• Fluent in Spanish, a plus.
