The RxShredder is a one of a kind solution to a common problem facing most pharmacists today… destroying and disposing of HIPAA sensitive materials.

The RxShredder is just what you need to quickly and efficiently control and destroy obsolete pharmacy documents, used pill bottles, pressure sensitive labels, and other information that may be considered private.

  • Low Noise/Low Horsepower - Unit is designed to be placed in the pharmacy and will operate at 65 db or less at all times. Unit is designed to be plugged into a normal wall outlet.

  • Replaceable Cutting Chamber - Unique bolt together design allows for the entire shredding chamber to be replaced in the event of a major breakdown due to improper use.

  • Designed for use in the pharmacy - Unit is designed for use in the Pharmacy to eliminate excessive handling, all safety noise, physical size and dust issues were addressed to make this a reality. Unit can go into new store fixture plans or can be retrofitted into any existing location.
  • Ease of clean up and disposal - Shredded material is discharged into a self-sealing 12 gallon bag. The bag is easily changed by the employee in a minute or less without any spillage or mess. The bag is then disposed of in any outside trash receptacle.

RxShredder is designed for pharmacies, this unit operates quietly at 65 decibels or less. Powerful enough to destroy plastic containers up to 4.25” Wide x 3” Deep or 3” Diameter x 5” Tall, pressure sensitive labels and other HIPAA sensitive materials. Self-sealing bag easily eliminates messy shredded material. Immediate destruction and disposal eliminates the need to store material for later destruction or pick-up. Convenient gliding casters. The unit’s small footprint takes up less space than many office machines. Replaceable cutting head with unique bolt together design, allows for quick and simple maintenance. HEPA filter virtually eliminates dust.

Medi-Shred Pharmacy Shredder

The Medi-Shred pill bottle shredder keeps you HIPPA compliant. It will shred pill bottles and pressure sensitive labels that contain patients personal information. Pharmacies and clinics also use it to shred syringes and empty blister packs. It is not designed to shred pills or medicine.

The Medi-Shred has a ten second cycle time for pill bottles and will shred ten sheets of labels in five seconds.
