Vitamin B-12 (cyanocobalamin)

Vitamin B-12 is commonly referred to as cobalamin because it contains cobalt.

Cyanocobalamin is the most active and stable form of Vitamin B-12.

Vitamin B-12 is primarily stored in the kidneys and liver with the excess being excreted in the urine.

Vitamin B-12 deficiency causes anemia and neurologic changes.

No toxic effects of vitamin B-12 have been reported.
