The U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) has proposed restrictions on beyond-use dates for many compounded medications — restrictions that may complicate your ability to treat patients.
That’s why the National Community Pharmacists Association and the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding are co-hosting a FREE 30-minute virtual briefing for prescribers on January 20 on USP’s proposed changes. The aim is to make sure physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners understand what’s at stake in terms of patient access to compounded meds – and are equipped to share comments with USP before the January 31 comment deadline.
If you or others in your practice prescribe compounded medications, register for this briefing to learn what’s at stake.
(If you are unable to attend in person, register ahead of time and we’ll send you a recording of the 30-minute briefing after the fact.)
