Kinney Drugs Receives Clinical Disease Management Certification From The Compliance Team


 August 10, 2023, Spring House, PA — The Compliance Team (TCT), a CMS-approved, national healthcare accreditation organization, announced Kinney Drugs (KPH Health Services) of Gouverneur, New York, a large regional pharmacy chain with 100 pharmacies, attained Clinical Disease Management Exemplary Provider® Certification.


Clinical Disease Management (CDM) is a value-based care program that verifies and validates a pharmacy meets and/or exceeds the established quality standards for delivering focused, high-quality disease management care. The goal of CDM is to improve operational excellence and outcomes in pharmacy clinical practices through proactive medication management, coordination between the pharmacy and the prescribing team, and increased interaction between the pharmacy and the patient.
