Jill Costa is a pharmacy operations leader with experience spanning community pharmacy management and large health-system pharmacy operations – with particular depth in medication procurement. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), B.S. in Health Policy & Management, and is a 340B Apexus Certified Expert (340B ACE). Jill has led initiatives involving workflow optimization, medication inventory management, pharmacy automation, medication procurement, and USP 795 compliance. She is passionate about helping pharmacy leaders leverage technology, data, artificial intelligence, and process improvement to enhance medication safety, operational efficiency, and staff engagement while navigating the evolving challenges of hospital pharmacy practice. Jill brings deep, hands-on knowledge of the procurement space, from sourcing and contract strategy to day-to-day inventory decisions at the health-system level.
