These systems automate vial filling, pouch and blister packaging, labeling, sorting, verification imaging, and the order routing that moves a prescription from the originating pharmacy to the central site and back. Central fill operations use this technology to increase throughput and dispensing accuracy, reduce cost per prescription, and shift routine fulfillment away from the local pharmacy, allowing staff to focus more on clinical and patient-facing care.
