Join us for a virtual 2-day Best Practices for Handling Hazardous Drugs training covering the latest on USP <800> requirements and led by CriticalPoint’s sterile compounding experts Latousha (Tasha) P. Jackson, PharmD, BCPS, BCSCP and Adam West, RCP-SCF, NSF-49 accreditation, an Environmental Monitoring and Training Specialist.

When: May 18-19, 2023.

Where: Anywhere! This virtual training can be attended from the comfort of your home or wherever you may train best.

Who: This training is designed for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, nursing, and other pharmacy workers as well as pharmacy leadership and/or designated persons.

Registration Cost: $2,500

This training program reviews current regulations and best practices concerning all aspects of handling hazardous drugs (HDs)s and is appropriate for medical, nursing, and pharmacy workers. Understanding these regulations will allow users to future-proof their facility and employ best work practices when performing both nonsterile and sterile HD handling.

Participants can earn up to 9.5 live ACPE credits for the 2 days of training, which will include lively discussions as well as practicum learning exercises that simulate real-life work scenarios. You’ll also have access to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) table of contents, certification references, USP <800> specific requirement list, and more.

Prework, consisting of 5 hours of self-study CE courses, is required and will be assigned through CriticalPoint’s Learning Management system (LMS) once the participants have been enrolled.

If you are registering on the behalf of someone else, on the next screen enter the attendee name and contact information in the “Subscriber Billing and Shipping Information” section.
