RxShelving offers Accucold refrigeration for pharmacy, medical, and laboratory storage. We help you select a model by working through the products you will store, their specified temperature range, the usable capacity you need, and the space available. Accucold manufactures the equipment; RxShelving helps with model selection, placement, and quoting.
Match the model to the storage requirements
Start with the requirements for the products being stored. Then consider usable interior space, how often staff open the unit, and whether a glass or solid door makes sense for the location. Our Accucold offering includes compact, counter-height, and full-height refrigerators. Door swing, locks, alarms, data logging, and certifications vary by model, so we check those details against the exact SKU being quoted. Vaccine-storage or NSF 456 features should be specified only when that model includes them.
Allow for installation in the layout
A refrigerator needs more than its exterior cabinet dimensions. Door opening, ventilation clearances, cord routing, and service access all affect placement. Counter height alone does not establish that a unit can be built into casework; a freestanding model must be installed according to its own specifications.
If you are planning shelving or casework, bring the cold-storage requirement into the drawing early. We can consider the unit alongside ORX, CRX, Rx Wood Cabinets, or Lozier fixtures while confirming the installation requirements for the selected model. If the configuration you need is not listed on our site, share the application and we can review available Accucold options.
