For more than 30 years, RxShelving has worked with pharmacies to plan shelving, casework, and the equipment around them. We start with the dimensions and workflow of your actual pharmacy. Our ORX Open Rx Shelving, CRX Closed Rx Shelving, and Rx Wood Cabinets are RxShelving product lines, and we can prepare a scaled 2D CAD layout with a quote for the equipment shown.
Choose the shelving that fits the space
ORX is a tubular shelving system with open sides and an open back. It can form wall runs or double-sided islands, depending on the available space and how the pharmacy uses it. The open structure keeps stock visible, while shelves can be installed flat, at a 12-degree downslope, or inverted to suit the products on each level. ORX is made in the U.S.A. and typically ships in three to five business days.
CRX is metal pharmacy shelving with closed backs and sides, an open front, and slide-in shelves. Individual units can line a wall, and two units can be placed back to back to form an island. Available widths and adjustable shelf levels make it practical to organize stock alongside equipment you plan to keep. Both ORX and CRX are modular: you can add sections as inventory grows, reconfigure a run when the work changes, or move the system to another area.
Add workstations and supporting equipment
Rx Wood Cabinets provide undercounter storage at pharmacy workstations. Standard cabinets have a white melamine finish and a 4-inch black toe kick; custom widths, heights, layouts, and a wide range of laminate finishes are also available. Our wood shop is near our fulfillment center, allowing cabinets and shelving to ship together.
We can account for the Rx Will Call System, secure storage, carts, and Accucold refrigeration on the same plan. Tell us what equipment will stay, where staff work, and what needs to change. A floor plan or rough sketch showing dimensions, doors, windows, and obstructions is enough to begin the conversation. We will use it to develop a suggested 2D CAD layout and an equipment quote.
Send your floor plan to RxShelving to begin your shelving and layout review.
