The message of the session is to emphasize “Don’t Assume You Know the Answer.” At the conclusion of this educational session, the pharmacist and technician attendee will be able to: • Provide the answers to five of the most commonly asked legal questions about compounding practice. • List three resources to access to research and obtain answers to compounding practice questions. • Explain the civil and/or criminal penalties associated with violations of state and federal compounding laws for pharmacists.
