Description: As a full-time, nonexempt, CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Schedule: This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week Monday-Friday from 8:00 am-4:30 pm and every other weekend (both Saturday/Sunday) from 8:00 am-2:30 pm. This position also works a rotating holiday schedule.
About the Facility: Old Vineyard Behavioral Health facility is a 162-bed acute inpatient psychiatric facility servicing adult, geriatric & adolescent patients. The facility is located on a beautiful, spacious campus in Winston-Salem, and provides intensive and individualized treatment to help adolescents and adults, providing a relaxing and comforting environment for patients, families, and staff. Old Vineyard’s specially trained staff, including psychiatrists, licensed therapists, psychologists, 24-hour nurses, and BA/BS direct-care counselors, are committed to serving each patient with compassion and quality care. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday 8 am- 4:30 pm; Saturday & Sunday 8 am-2:30 pm.
Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
• North Carolina Licensure/Registration/Certification requirements
• Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
• Effective communications skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
• Hep B3 Series (or declination)
• (Flu) Influenza required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
• COVID Vaccine-Full (required)
