America’s aging population is reshaping the future of long-term care pharmacy. As more seniors choose to age in place, community and institutional pharmacies alike are experiencing growing demand for medication adherence, compliance packaging, and LTC At Home services. At the same time, pharmacies are seeking innovative ways to improve operational efficiencies that can expand their businesses.
To help pharmacies meet these evolving needs, JFCRx™ today announced it has joined the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) Long-Term Care (LTC) Division as a Solutions Provider. The NCPA LTC Division is a specialized community within the NCPA dedicated to helping independent pharmacies succeed in the growing long-term care marketplace through education, advocacy, networking, and business resources.
As an NCPA LTC Division Solutions Provider, JFCRx will support retail, combo-shop, and closed-door pharmacies with scalable pharmacy automation, adherence packaging solutions, analytics-driven workflow, and business strategies designed to help pharmacies reduce their cost to fill and confidently scale their services.
“The future of LTC pharmacy extends well beyond traditional facility-based care,” said Duane Chudy, Chairman of JFCRx. “As the great majority of patients choose to receive care at home, pharmacies have an incredible opportunity to expand their services. We’re proud to work alongside independent pharmacies to develop practical business solutions that help them continue to serve one of America’s fastest-growing patient populations.”
The demand for home-based long-term care continues to accelerate, driven by an aging population, patient preference for aging in place, advances in pharmacy automation, and new opportunities for pharmacies to deliver comprehensive medication management outside traditional institutional settings. JFCRx will help to steer the national conversation during the NCPA 2026 Annual Conference in Kansas City, MO October 1-6, 2026.
JFCRx will also participate in the SPS Health LTC Pharmacy Summit in Las Vegas, September 15-17.
