One of the biggest challenges pharmacy owners face is ensuring that access to sensitive data is properly managed across their team.
As pharmacies grow and staff responsibilities expand, maintaining the right balance between accessibility and oversight becomes increasingly important. Without clear access controls, it can be difficult to ensure that sensitive data is only available to the right people at the right time.
That’s why C2 Keep enforces Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), giving pharmacy owners and directors the ability to manage access levels and maintain stronger accountability across their organization.
New Rights Tiers
C2 Keep now offers three distinct levels of rights that define what a user can see and do:
- Company Admin Rights: Full oversight and high-level management.
- Admin Rights: Strong management capabilities for daily operations.
- Staff Rights: Focused access for recording and verifying transactions
Rights Based on Roles
Each user invited to a specific account can either be assigned one of the default roles below or a custom role that you create:
- Owner: Has Company Admin Rights. Only one user can be assigned this role.
- Pharmacist-in-Charge: Has Admin Rights.
- Pharmacist: Has Staff Rights.
- Technician: Has Staff Rights.
Creating custom roles allows admins to name them however they like and assign the specific rights that fit their pharmacy’s unique workflows.
Why This Matters
Internal diversion risks often come from unclear access controls or shared responsibilities. By clearly defining who can access and manage controlled substance data, pharmacy owners gain better visibility, stronger accountability, and greater peace of mind.
Whether you operate a single location or multiple stores, C2 Keep adapts to your workflow and helps your team operate with confidence and clarity.
