NCPA 2025 Organization Year in Review
- NCPA joined a class action suit against GoodRx, CVS Caremark Corp., Express Scripts, Inc., MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc., and Navitus Health Solutions, LLC.
- NCPA Innovation Center and independent pharmacy partners formed the Independent Community Pharmacy Consortium for Government Engagement to bolster public health emergency preparedness and response.
- NCPA released a new analysis titled Unpacking the Financial Impacts of Medicare Drug Price Negotiation, finding that the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation program threatens the financial stability of small and independent American pharmacies.
- ASCP and NCPA announced joint recommendations to manufacturers to effectuate Medicare’s Maximum Fair Price (MFP).
- NCPA and HealthShifts announced a partnership to launch a national job board to expand career and staffing support for the community pharmacy sector.
- NCPA, along with APhA, AACP, ASCP, ASHP, CPESN USA, HOPA, NASPA, NABP, NPhA, PTCB, and SIDP, jointly published guiding principles for state policy on pharmacy personnel-administered vaccines.
