New integration brings temperature, humidity, and air pressure readings into Pestle compliance tasks and introduces automated logging.
Pestle, a provider of pharmacy compliance and workflow software, announced the launch of its integration with Sonicu. The integration allows customers to retrieve Sonicu environmental readings directly within Pestle, bringing monitoring documentation into the same system teams use to manage other compliance activities.
The integration supports temperature, humidity, and air pressure readings, helping pharmacies reduce manual transcription and the need for routine users to access a separate system to retrieve values for their compliance logs.
Customers can use the integration in two ways. A new Sonicu task field allows users to retrieve readings while completing a regular Pestle task. Existing environmental monitoring tasks can be updated to use this field, allowing pharmacies to incorporate the integration into established workflows.
The launch also introduces Auto Log, a new task type that retrieves and saves readings automatically on a configured schedule. When the integration successfully returns a value, Pestle saves the entry. If a value cannot be retrieved, the task moves to Overdue for follow-up.
Supported reading options include:
- Current readings.
- Snapshot readings at specified times.
- Minimum, maximum, or average readings over a 24-hour period for the days being monitored.
By bringing these readings into Pestle, pharmacies can maintain environmental monitoring documentation alongside their other compliance records while reducing repetitive data entry. Keeping these records in one system also makes it easier to compile reports and prepare documentation for audits and inspections.
