Visante hires pharmacy operations expert Jim Lund to expand growing consulting service practice
Consulting firm continues to build expert team to improve health system pharmacy operational and financial results
MINNEAPOLIS – November 22, 2021 – Visante announces that Jim Lund (PharmD, MS, BCSCP) has joined the firm as Senior Director, Supply Chain and Operations. Visante says Lund’s deep, contemporary expertise will expand capabilities in its quickly growing consulting areas of pharmacy inpatient operations, automation strategy, Centralized Service Center (CSC) design and buildout and pharmacy supply chain. These areas of expertise help hospitals and health systems greatly improve financial and operational performance for the entire organization.

Jim Lund will support Visante partners in all aspects of inpatient pharmacy operational performance and system supply chain performance. Prior to joining Visante, he was Director of Pharmacy Operations, Departmental Strategy and Innovation at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston where he was responsible for the operations of the hospital’s inpatient pharmacy distribution systems, sterile and non-sterile compounding areas and perioperative pharmacy services. He also previously served in leadership roles overseeing the transformation and optimization of pharmacy operations at the University of Chicago Medical Center and University of Wisconsin.
