MILT® 4 by Medi-Dose – Powerfully Easy Software for Unit Dose and Bar Code Labeling
Medi-Dose, Inc.’s MILT® 4 software provides complete medication identification and barcoding capabilities for all your labeling needs … solids, liquids, syringes, ampules, IV’s, and equipment. 1-D, 2-D, and multi-part bar codes are supported so lot numbers, NDC’s, and expiration dates can be included. You can also construct your own bar codes tailored for your BPOC/BCMA systems. Flexible formatting (different colors, fonts, even Tall-Man Lettering), laser and thermal printing capabilities, and customized workflow for your facility are all available through the program. The software maintains complete packaging logs and contains both a built-in upgradeable NDC database and a listing of those medications noted on the CDC NIOSH list for Hazardous Meds (calling attention to those drugs requiring special handling). Medi-Dose/EPS® unit dose systems are efficient and inexpensive for in-house packaging and distribution of solid oral medication. Medi-Dose provides tamper-evidence, ultraviolet inhibitance, and moisture protection. No glass, metal, or formal training is required. Medi-Cup® PLUS blisters (blue and green) provide one-year beyond-use dating! 15 different styles of blisters … including new MULTI-PURPOSE and JUMBO ones for multiple meds, large tablets or capsules, MINI blisters designed for saving space in medication bins, and OVAL blisters for a variety of dispensing cabinets.
