Holding Hemp-Based CBD to Higher Standards

The latest trend in health and beauty products formulated with cannabidiol (CBD) has brought a crowd of manufacturers to the table. Not all CBD is the same, however. The CBD compound is a non-psychoactive component of two strains of the cannabis Sativa plant -- the cannabis (marijuana) strain is known for its recreational use, and the hemp strain has historically been used for industrial purposes. Interestingly, hemp actually contains more CBD and less (nearly zero) THC than marijuana, making hemp-derived CBD both more potent and safer.

Medterra oils, tinctures, and creams are made with 99% pure CBD from hemp, and they are guaranteed to be completely free of THC. The company is certified by the U.S. Hemp Authority Certification Program, which is the CBD industry's guide to standards, best practices, and self-regulation. This seal of approval states that Medterra’s hemp products are safe and legal in all 50 states. All of their products go through independent, third-party lab testing, to ensure customers can reap the benefits of CBD without the risk of contaminants, pesticides, or unwanted THC.
