The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) is holding its next Annual Meeting and Exhibition at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee, Florida from November 2-5, 2017. This national meeting will consist of interactive learning sessions, workshops, keynote presentations, over 100 exhibitors, and opportunities for networking.
The 2017 Annual Meeting will offer the chance to earn continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credits, recertification credits for board certified geriatric pharmacists (BCGP), and other valuable skills through participation in preconference workshops and educational sessions. Featured workshops include a half-day interactive session on Implementing an Antimicrobial Stewardship Program in Post-Acute Long-Term Care, a full-day program on A Collaborative Approach to Fall Prevention: Using the ASCP-NCOA Toolkit, and a new full-day certificate program, Business Skills for Private Practice. All pharmacists are invited to learn how to utilize current tool-kits and resources to enhance their business skills to become more competent consultant pharmacists and improve the lives of older adults.
The Business Skills for Private Practice certificate program is part of a larger suite of programs, called SenioRx Solutions. SenioRx Solutions is a newly debuted set of smart solutions for pharmacists who are looking to enhance their careers through additional business training, connectivity via new directories and virtual networks, becoming board certified, and more. You can learn more online at ascp.com/SenioRx.
The Annual Meeting will offer up to 16 hours of CPE, and 12 hours of BCGP recertification credits.
