First Financial Bank recently announced the promotion of Schwanda Flowers, Pharm D, as Managing Director of their Professional Services Division, providing financial solutions to those in the pharmacy, veterinary, and pet care industries.  Schwanda joined FFB in 2019, and was previously a loan officer in the veterinary lending division. 

“I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to lead and help shape the future of such a rapidly-growing division.  As a former small business owner, I know how valuable both relationships and resources are to growing a successful business”, she stated. Recognizing that passion for ownership and personal relationships are key to small business success, Schwanda can provide vital support to those seeking to expand or start a business.  

She has mentored business owners and entrepreneurs for more than 14 years and is committed to helping the next generation realize their dream of ownership.  She serves as a business plan team advisor and has been recognized nationally several times over the past decade.  Along with her husband, Seth, she helped develop the NCPA Foundation/UAMS Pharmacy Ownership and Leadership Academy (POLA) to help prepare student pharmacists for ownership.

At home, Schwanda and her husband enjoy traveling, golf, and spending time on the water or skiing in Colorado with their five children.  They are active in the community and volunteer with local organizations dear to their hearts.
