SDS Rx, the leading provider of last mile logistic solutions to the healthcare industry, announced the appointment of Rob Betchley as Chief Operating Officer, effective June 27. In his new position, Rob will be responsible for the company’s pharmacy field operations team, radio pharmaceutical operations team, central operations team as well as its vendor services team.

After graduating with a BS in management from the US Military Academy (West Point), Rob spent five years in the military as an Army Lieutenant with the Belgium-American nuclear weapons team and as a Captain in the First Armored Division.  Upon leaving the military, he joined Nestle´ Waters North America, holding operating management positions over the next nine years. Next, he spent ten years with Cardinal Health, holding progressive leadership positions including Director of operations, VP operations and VP sales. From there, Rob was appointed President and CEO of Logistics Health (a subsidiary of United Health and Optum). Prior to joining SDS Rx he served as the CEO of Alternative Biomedical Solutions and Advanced Tissue, two private equity-backed organizations.
