As a full time, exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Director of Pharmacy, you will oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed-upon programs with assistance from a full support team.
Schedule: This position is scheduled for 40 hours a week Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. This position could involve off hours from time to time.
About the Hospital: SUN Behavioral Delaware is a 99-bed psychiatric hospital located in Sussex County, Delaware. The hospital provides a full continuum of specialized care, including inpatient and day hospital services, for those suffering from mental health illness and substance use disorders. SUN Behavioral Delaware offers specialized programs for children, adolescents, adults and seniors. SUN Behavioral Health partners with communities to solve their unmet needs for behavioral health services and improves psychiatric services for communities by providing compassionate and respectful care to save lives and enhance the quality of life for our patients and their families. SUN works closely with medical and surgical hospitals, physicians and behavioral health care providers as well as local schools and community organizations to ensure that our hospitals provide our patients and their families with a seamless continuum of care that meets the highest standards of personalized treatment. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Required Qualifications:
• BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Delaware Pharmacist licensure in good standing
• 2 years of management experience in a healthcare/hospital environment.
• Ability to solve problems, and establish trust and credibility.
• Demonstrated teaching, relevant professional publications and involvement with Professional organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns and work cooperatively with other staff.
Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
• (PPD) TB Skin Test – Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Varicella – (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
• Hep B3 Series (or declination)
• (Flu) Influenza required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
• COVID Vaccine-Full (required)
