New addition will drive next stage technology advancements in leading last mile solution provider

Today, SDS Rx announced Danny Barfield has joined the executive leadership team as its new Chief Information Officer. Danny will be replacing Tammy Dyer as she transitions into her new role as VP of Financial Operations and continues her decade long commitment to SDS Rx. Tammy will be reporting into Brad Comm, the company CFO.

In his new CIO role, Danny will elevate the SDS IT strategy and capabilities while keeping the needs of the patient at the forefront. In his responsibilities for all software, infrastructure, data engineering, systems and security, Danny will lead our growth-driven digital transformation to increase operational efficiencies and further enhance customer reporting capabilities.

Prior to joining SDS Rx, Danny spent eight years as Executive Vice President of Datatrac Corporation where he was responsible for software development, integrations, implementations as well as customer solutions. Danny developed a technology platform allowing customers to easily build integrated final mile networks. Prior to Datatrac, Danny spent six years at TForce Logistics as Director Information Services where he led all product management and development.

Danny has a BBA degree in Computer Information Systems from Clayton State University.
