Exemplary Provider® Accreditation
The Compliance Team, Inc. (TCT) is the USA’s only woman-owned and nurse-led national healthcare accreditation organization (AO). The firm, which is headquartered in suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was formed in 1994 by Sandra C. Canally, RN with the stated mission to “simplify the accreditation process and establish Safety-Honesty-Caring® as core patient relationship goals.” TCT’s first operations-based Exemplary Provider®-branded accreditation programs were launched in 1998. Today, in addition to offering a full suite of pharmacy services accreditation tracks, The Compliance Team exercises its authority granted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services to accredit Medicare Part A-Rural Health Clinics and Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) practices, as well as Part B-DMEPOS (Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, Supplies) providers. New for 2018, telepharmacy accreditation for community pharmacy and Patient-Centered Pharmacy Home™ (PCPH) accreditation for advanced pharmacy patient services. The Compliance Team’s proprietary Medicare-approved Exemplary Provider® accreditation process for community pharmacy also includes tracks for long-term care, infusion, sterile/non-sterile compounding, specialty drug, retail clinic, and DMEPOS.
