This course provides training on Inject-Safe Barrier Bandages and how they prevent the transfer of bloodborne pathogens. Inject-Safe Barrier bandages self-seal to contain bleeding following an injection or immunization protecting the patient and healthcare provider. They meet the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standard’s definition on “Engineering Control” to reduce employee exposure.
