Package Performance Qualification – What is It, Why It’s Important and How it Works

Recently I was honored to take part in a special NASP podcast with Bill Barrows, Program Director for Partner’s Healthcare Specialty Pharmacy and Sheila Arquette, Executive Director of NASP. We discussed a range of topics around the importance of Package Performance Qualification (PPQ) testing – including how it can help specialty pharmacies comply with new and evolving requirements from accreditation agencies like URAC as well as for participation in payer and PBM networks. It was an interesting conversation, and having Bill’s perspective as a practitioner was particularly insightful.
