Ongoing developments in the 116th Congress and within the federal agencies impact a pharmacist’s practice and the profession. This session will provide an update on current federal legislative and regulatory activities pertaining to pharmacy. It will include an update on efforts to create PBM transparency and solve reimbursement challenges, achieve provider status and other legislation affecting the profession. Regulatory updates on the Drug Quality and Security Act implementation, the Medicare Part D program, and FDA initiatives will also be provided.
