Owen Mumford announce an exciting collaboration with multinational drug container manufacturer Stevanato Group

Tomorrow we will be announcing a new collaboration with a multinational company, Stevanato Group, who are a very well-known and respected organisation in the pharmaceutical space, manufacturing primary drug containers like glass vials, syringes and ampoules. Stevanato Group will help us to promote our ground-breaking Aidaptus® auto-injector (previously project Eiger) to a much wider audience, giving us access to a significant base of new customers at an early stage in the drug development pipeline and therefore allowing Owen Mumford to influence device decisions at the first opportunity. Once we have secured partnerships with large pharma companies, Stevanato will make significant investment in moulding assets and subassembly equipment and will provide options for final assembly equipment to enable pharmaceutical companies to deliver drug-filled devices to their patients. Owen Mumford will initially undertake the manual assembly of the devices before investing further in full-automated assembly equipment to be based in our new Witney facility.

Once the necessary equipment is in place, Stevenato will supply moulded components for Aidaptus and in conjunction with Owen Mumford, will manufacture sub-assemblies. With this extremely valuable customer base, expertise and access to financial and people resources that Stevanato Group brings, we will be truly giving Aidaptus the focus and reach it deserves.

This collaboration is all about generating additional sales opportunities for this amazing device that we have designed, establishing it globally as a competitive, ground-breaking solution from the company that is known for innovation in medical device design - Owen Mumford.
