As a full time exempt, Staffing Director of Pharmacy with CPS Solutions, LLC at Bloomington Meadows Hospital in Bloomington, Indiana, you will oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs with assistance from a full support team.  In addition, you will have supervision responsibilities and the assistance of a full time Pharmacy Technician and Per Diem Pharmacist.


Schedule: This position is scheduled to work at least 40 hours per week Monday - Friday day shifts, including taking on call when the pharmacy is closed.     


About the Facility: Bloomington Meadows is a Joint Commission accredited hospital that provides mental health and substance abuse services to adults and adolescents ages 6-17.  Acute inpatient services are offered to both adult and adolescent populations, as well as an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adults.  The hospital is licensed for 78 beds and has an average daily census of 60 patients. Bloomington Meadows is dedicated to helping patients restore their health and get a fresh start. Their treatment is built on excellent communication between patients, their families, referral sources, and hospital team of professionals. Bloomington Meadows Hospital provides exceptional personalized outpatient and inpatient treatment programs for each patient. Their team of professionals is comprised of board-certified physicians and master's level clinicians in both our adult and youth programs. Bloomington Meadows involves its physicians in every step of treatment. Since each patient has unique needs, Bloomington Meadows offers a wide array of behavioral health programs to address the needs of individuals searching for adult and youth treatment facilities.  CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.


About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy department is open Monday-Friday from 8a-4:30pm and may be expanding to add some weekend pharmacy hours. 


Required Qualifications:

• BS or PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy

• Active Indiana pharmacist license in good standing

• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Director in a hospital setting

• Experience with pharmacy operations, clinical programs and staff management

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns and work cooperatively with other members of Comprehensive Pharmacy Services and hospital and pharmacy staff


Hospital Requirements: (may be required)

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months

• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity

• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving

• Hep B3 Series (or declination) 

• (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th  

• COVID Vaccine-Full (required)
