SAN ANTONIO, TX -- (BUSINESS WIRE) – AirCare Automation (“AirCare” or the “Company”), a cleanroom controls and monitoring solutions provider, announced that its founder, Howard Abramowitz, has stepped down as President and Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) and has transitioned to a newly created position of Chief Technology Officer (“CTO”), effective July 1, 2023. As CTO, Howard will be instrumental in AirCare’s next generation product development and reducing time to market. He will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors (“Board”) and remain a significant shareholder of AirCare.
As part of this announcement, the Board has announced the promotion and appointment of Shawn Dewey as President and CEO. Since joining AirCare in 2022, Dewey has served as Director of Engineering, helping to expand and enhance the Company’s Systems Engineering and Field Services businesses. Prior to AirCare, Dewey served in various managerial roles at NOV, Inc.
