TruClean Pro Triple Bucket System

Utilizing the ISSA Workloading Basic Principles below, a time and motion study was conducted onsite at Siena College’s Roger Bacon Hall for Science to define production rates and efficiencies over a period of time using the prescribed tasks and tools.

ISSA Consulting has conducted a comprehensive time study assessment and efficacy analysis of Perfex mop systems, focusing on three distinct mop heads used in conjunction with a standardized three-bucket system. This study aims to evaluate the performance and production rates of each mop head, providing valuable insights into their effectiveness in various cleaning scenarios. By systematically measuring and comparing the time and effort required for each mop head to complete standardized tasks, this analysis seeks to inform best practices and enhance overall operational efficiency in the cleaning process.

Products: TruClean Pro Triple Bucket System The ISSA Consulting team employed the advanced TruClean Pro Triple Bucket System from Perfex to conduct their meticulous product testing. This innovative system, designed to enhance hygiene and efficiency, consists of three separate compartments: solution bucket, a rinse bucket, and a waste bucket. By utilizing this configuration, the system effectively prevents cross-contamination and ensures a consistent supply of clean water, or solution, for mopping. During the study, ISSA used this three-bucket system to test the performance of three different mop heads, meticulously measuring the time and effort required for each mop head to complete various cleaning tasks. This methodical approach allowed for a precise comparison of the mop heads' efficacy, providing valuable insights into their suitability for diverse cleaning environments.

EQUIPMENT OBSERVATIONS AND DATA POINTS

The three-bucket system used in the ISSA Consulting study, TruClean Pro Triple Bucket System from Perfex, is noted for its exceptional ease of assembly and maneuverability. Designed with user convenience in mind, this system features color-coded buckets for intuitive setup and use, ensuring that even new users can quickly understand and implement it. Its sturdy, ergonomic construction includes smooth-rolling casters that facilitate effortless movement across various surfaces, reducing the physical strain on cleaning personnel. This practical design not only enhances operational efficiency but also promotes better hygiene practices by simplifying the separation of clean, rinse, and wastewater. As a result, the system proves to be an invaluable tool in maintaining high cleaning standards with minimal hassle.

Among the most valuable features of the TruClean Pro Triple Bucket System used in the study was its innovative wringer handle and squeezing mechanism. This thoughtfully designed component wraps snugly around the mop heads, effectively pressing out excess solution with ease. The mechanism allows users to control the amount of pressure applied, enabling precise management of the solution remaining on the mop head for floor cleaning. This level of control ensures that the optimal amount of cleaning solution is used, enhancing both the efficiency and effectiveness of the cleaning process while minimizing waste. This feature significantly contributed to the overall positive performance and ease of use noted in the study.

SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS

The overall efficiency and functionality of the TruClean Pro Triple Bucket system could be significantly enhanced by adding a clasp mechanism to secure the wringer attachments firmly in place. This improvement is particularly crucial when maneuvering the system over bumps, such as door thresholds, or across various surface types that may cause the wringer to shift or become unstable. Currently, the absence of a clasp means that the wringer can sometimes dislodge or move during transitions, potentially leading to spills or inefficiencies in the cleaning process. A sturdy clasp would ensure that the wringer remains securely attached to the bucket, maintaining stability and consistent performance regardless of the terrain. This modification would not only prevent disruptions during cleaning operations but also enhance the user’s control over the system, making it easier to navigate through different areas without compromising the effectiveness of the mop head. By incorporating a clasp to lock the wringer in place, the TruClean Pro Triple Bucket system would offer a more reliable and user-friendly experience, ultimately leading to improved productivity and satisfaction for cleaning personnel. This small yet impactful enhancement would make the system more robust and adaptable to the varying conditions encountered in diverse cleaning environments.
