A Pharmacy Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) is a collaborative entity that aggregates the purchasing power of its member pharmacies, healthcare systems, or other healthcare providers to negotiate more favorable pricing, terms, and services with pharmaceutical manufacturers, wholesalers, and other suppliers. Pharmacy GPOs play a critical role in helping pharmacies manage costs while maintaining access to high-quality pharmaceutical products and services.
