Meet EDGE™ - Closing the Cold Chain with Wireless Temperature Sensors

A temperature-controlled supply chain is crucial to protecting the safety and efficacy of many pharmaceuticals. Vaccines are particularly vulnerable to fluctuations in temperature. URAC standards require pharmacies to ensure that products are maintained within the manufacturer’s guidelines throughout the shipping process.

TempTime’s portable, wireless EDGE sensors provide temperature tracking and data sharing for use in production, storage, and shipment. These Bluetooth-enabled devices allow data logging and retrieval through packing materials, containers, trucks, cold equipment, and temperature-controlled rooms. This ability to track temperature without opening containers or rooms means no risk to products through environmental exposure to heat. A mobile app allows convenient, on-demand smartphone tracking and monitoring of temperature and location through a GPS function.
