The College of Pharmacy at Roosevelt University partners with many
Community and Ambulatory Care pharmacists and sites to provide quality
Core and Elective pharmacy experiences for our Advanced Pharmacy
Practice Experience (APPE) students. Our recipient
for this year’s APPE Outpatient Preceptor of the Year
Award has been an APPE Preceptor for Roosevelt
College of Pharmacy for the past three years. She is
a preceptor that students enjoy having, because she
challenges them to think about the whole patient.
Dr. Natasha Niedbalec is recognized by her students
as someone who motivates and provides helpful
feedback. Because of her influence and involvement
through her practice site, her students were able
to experience many different settings during their rotation, including
management, inpatient, and outpatient. Students are appreciative of the
opportunities that she provided for them to do projects that helped both the
site and the surrounding community. Dr. Natasha Niedbalec was presented
her award at the Class of 2018 Awards and Hooding Ceremony
