Amanda Williams, has been named the University of Connecticut’s 2017 Adjunct Faculty Preceptor of the Year for Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE). She is an ambulatory care pharmacist at the Gengras Ambulatory Clinic at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut.
“I am invested in [students’] learning and want to set them up
for success. Everything I ask I follow up on. I think it’s important
that students know it is OK to make mistakes as long as they
learn from the experience.” - A. Williams
