2022 PharmD Candidate

Maya Phillips is a third year student at UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. She moved to North Carolina from Slovakia, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Law from Comenius University. She is passionate about providing exceptional patient care, having previously interned in ambulatory care and community pharmacy settings. She served as the Kappa Epsilon Beta Mu treasurer, as well as on the finance committee for the Asheville Summit, an annual student-led conference. Outside of pharmacy school, Maya's passions include traveling and attending live music events. She currently works in a long term care setting, and is considering a career in that field after graduation. She is also open to pursuing a residency in ambulatory care. Maya enjoys pharmacy because of the diverse career path that she knows it will offer her, and looks forward to the opportunity to serve patients.
