Design as a verb expresses the activity of detailing an object’s proposed construction for an activity or process. For the designers at Superior Laboratory Services, Inc (SLSI), this means designing a room that will protect medicines, vaccines, devices, and more. Each line that the designer draws and every airflow area they measure has a meaningful purpose.
Designs can range from remodeling interiors to new cleanrooms to biosafety level 3, vivarium, or another specialty facility. The team at SLSI works collaboratively with its clients to make their vision come to fruition. For example, SLSI developed the vivarium dual access mobile changing station from a concept from a director at Baylor College of Medicine. The director sent the design to the team where designers tested and provided the final prototype with video imaging before manufacturing.
For any design project, the team brings a client-first philosophy and in-depth knowledge of architecture, engineering, and construction to every action and process.
